Additionally Phoenix Flooring is ideal for applications in hospitals,
the transportation industry, apartments and condominiums; country
clubs and recreation centers; construction; in fire stations,
police departments and jails; department stores; railroad freight
cars; bus floors; boat dock fueling stations; and in many other
environments.
The
Phoenix covering and sealers have been successfully installed
in many difficult and diverse applications on military bases,
in shipyards and ship repair facilities,
and aboard over 400 Navy, Coast Guard, and commercial ships
in Norfolk, Philadelphia, Charleston, SC; Mayport, FL; San Diego
CA; Bremeton, WA; Groton, CT; and Naval installations around
the world. Phoenix is also installed on the most recent aircraft
carriers in the U.S. Navy: CVN-73 -- USS George Washington,
and CVN-74 -- USS John Stennis.
Phoenix
is impervious to moisture, and provides a slip resistant surface,
even when wet. It also meets OSHA and
FDA standards. Cosmetically appealing, it comes in a variety
of colors and textures. It can be overlayed on top of existing
surfaces (wood, metal, concrete, tile etc.), thus eliminating
"tear out" costs. Surfaces may also be filled, leveled,
or pitched with the product. Phoenix can even be applied on
vertical surfaces, and corners.
The
rapid curing qualities make Phoenix suitable for repair of damaged
floors overnight: a manufacturing plant floor can be repaired
and ready for use again for next day service.
Depressions
can be filled in, floors pitched or leveled, and smooth surfaces
or slip resistant surfaces can be obtained.
